Southern Financial Systems' Core System Keeps 3-Branch Bank of Madison Competitive with “The Big Guys.”
Bank of Madison, in Madison Georgia, became a Southern Financial Systems client in 1989. The bank wanted local support for its in-house data processing, and found that Southern Financial Systems exceeded its expectations. “Their knowledge, service and integrity is second to none,” said Clifton Hanes, Bank of Madison's CFO.
Bank of Madison has only three branches, but serves its customers like a much larger bank. “We compete with the big guys, so technology is very important to us. We need the agility to compete product-to-product, service-to-service,” Hanes said. “The combination of Harland Financial Solutions' SPARAK System and the outstanding support of Southern Financial Systems gives us those capabilities.”
The SPARAK System, supported by Southern Financial Systems, has enabled Bank of Madison to grow from a $25 million bank in 2000 to a $232 million bank today -- without increasing the operations staff or reducing its high standards of service. Harland Financial Solutions considers Bank of Madison an excellent example of what can be accomplished with the SPARAK System, aided by the expertise of Southern Financial Systems.
