First National Bank, located in Griffin GA, recently implemented real-time ATM processing at the Southern Financial Systems Datacenter. Utilizing the Datacenter’s leading edge technology, security, and disaster recovery assures the bank’s customers will have instant and constant real-time access to their accounts. The project was managed by SFS.
March 2014:
Madison County Community Bank, located in Florida, recently contracted with our Network Services Team to maintain and support their network infrastructure.
September 2013:
Utilizing the abundant resources of the SFS Datacenter, Commercial Banking Company located in Georgia, has contracted with SFS to provide statement rendering services. This will allow the bank to realize cost savings from reducing labor, equipment and supplies.
August 2013:
The Bank of Newington has completed implementing a real-time ATM solution running out of the SFS Datacenter located in Nashville, GA. This outsourced solution will provide the bank and their customers with piece of mind knowing that they have 24/7 access to their data in a secure and fully redundant environment.
July 2013:
SFS has completed printing Privacy Mailings for several banks. By combining accounts by customer SFS sends notices to all customers and not individual accounts. This minimizes the number of mailings required and saves the bank costs for materials and postage.
March 2013:
The Bank of Madison, located in Madison GA, recently implemented the Integrated Bank Environment. An IBT solution, this leading edge technology provides the bank with a suite of integrated products to provide image capture at the teller line, full Check-21 functionality, fraud detection, document imaging, electronic report archival, contact management and online banking. SFS’s team of analysts assisted with the implementation and conversion to the new solution.
December 2012:
Hamilton State Bank located in Flowery Branch GA, has chosen our Charge Off Processing System (COPS) to track and process their Charged Off account portfolio. The system is operated out of the SFS Datacenter.
November 2012:
Southern Financial Systems is proud to announce that The Bank of Newington is the latest financial institution to move their account and item processing operations to the SFS Datacenter.
June 2012
The Commercial Banking Company, a south Georgia institution, has contracted with Southern Financial Systems to provide remote backup and disaster recovery for their core account processing system. SFS is providing this daily backup and 24/7 disaster recovery service from their Datacenter in Nashville GA.

Southern Financials Systems has successfully completed the examination for the SSAE-16 SOC 2 Audit Report.
November 2011
Citizens Bank & Trust, Eastman GA, is the latest bank to take advantage of the operational efficiencies, security, and regulatory advantages offered by the Southern Financial Systems Datacenter. The bank migrated all of their Sparak core accounting operations, item processing, and check imaging operations to the Datacenter.
September 2011
Citizens Bank, located in Nashville GA, contracted with SFS to provide real-time ATM processing. Utilizing the Shazam Network, SFS now provides their banking customers with instant available balance inquires and real-time posting of transactions. The technology is serviced and supported through the SFS Datacenter.

Southern Financial Systems, which provides data processing services through its Datacenter in Nashville GA, has relocated it Disaster Recovery facility to the Fogo Datacenter located in Carrollton GA. Fogo is a $5 million purpose built Tier 3 datacenter with redundant power, communications, networking, and environmental controls.

February 2010:
Southern Financial Systems is proud to announce that it recently completed its Type II SAS-70 Service Auditors Report certification. This audit examines and verifies the physical, logical, environmental, operational and security controls that are in place in our Data Center.
January 2010:
The Citizens Bank, located in Nashville, Georgia, will be the newest client of the Southern Financial Systems Data Center. The bank has five branches and assets of $280 million. In addition to processing their core system, Southern Financial Systems will also provide the Image Teller system which will provide all of their transaction imaging and processing needs. The Data Center will also provide document imaging, real-time internet banking, and real-time telephone banking.
June 2009:
Beacon Software, a subsidiary of Southern Financial Systems, has installed its Internet Banking System for a five-bank holding company located in Iowa. The Beacon product is a full-featured Internet banking system and will allow the banks to offer both business and personal Internet banking in an in-house environment.
May 2009:
A Georgia-based financial institution has joined the clients of Southern Financial Systems' data center in Marietta, Georgia. The datacenter will provide personal and business Internet banking services for customers of the institution.
